ABBA is a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. The group’s name is an acronym of the first letters of their first names. Songs include Fernando and Momma Mia.
DEVO Entered music scene 1973, were famous for their domed hats and unusual synthetic instrumentation.. The song WHIP IT launched this group into the mainstream.
The Cars were an American rock band formed in Boston in 1976. My Best Friends Girl and GOOD TIMES ROLL were probably the most famous Car songs performed during the 70’s.
