Beatles Rain Over Minneapolis Again
Rain delivers more than just the note-for-note performance they promise (though die-hard Beatles fans may not need much more than that.) This Beatles tribute band honors the entire career of the Beatles: reliving their biggest moments, following their transforming sound and appearance, and playing difficult songs even the Beatles themselves did not play live. Rain integrates audience participation for a family-friendly and fun experience.
Rain gives a multi-media performance, using LED, high-definition screens to show film and images that bring the Beatles to life. This year, they celebrate the anniversary of Abbey Road. As stated on raintribute.com:
“In celebration of the anniversary of Abbey Road, RAIN will bring the greatest hits of this epic recording to life, in addition to all your early Beatles favorites. This mind-blowing performance takes you back in time with the legendary foursome delivering a note-for-note theatrical event that is “the next best thing to seeing the Beatles” (Associated Press).
Long-time Beatles tribute band Rain is returning to Minneapolis April 13th at the State Theatre. Tickets are $43.50-$63.50; Showgoers who need “a little help from their friends” on where to park should check out the Park and Shop parking ramps. They are a short walk away from the State Theatre and only cost $6 after 4 pm.
