Joe Rogan Coming to the State Theatre
If you’re looking for the Chuck Norris of comedy, you’re looking for Joe Rogan. With an extremely versatile resume, Rogan is as well known for martial arts as he is for his stand-up. In between is a host of other reality shows, roles, and activism that round out this entertainer as one funny badass.
Testosterone is a main ingredient in most of his work. From the Ultimate Fighting Championship to the Man Show to Fear Factor, Rogan’s body of work is typically intense and masculine. His comedy is in the same vein – aggressive, satirical, and bold. He captivates an audience that wants to shed the BS and get real about life. Rogan has a reputation for being fearless both on screen and off.
You can catch Rogan’s current comedy tour, “Strange Times” at the State Theatre on Friday, June 23rd. The show starts at 7:30, and tickets are $39.50 to $65. Nearby parking is available for just $6 at the park and Shop ramps. They’re a short walk from the venue and plenty of other popular downtown hotspots. The discount is valid all day Sundays and after 4 pm the rest of the week.
