Passively Aggressive at the Target Center
Comedian Jeff Dunham will bring his comedy tour, Passively Aggressive, to the Target Center on Thursday, January 24th. The show begins at 7 pm; doors open at 6. Tickets are $48.50 and available through the Target Center’s box office. Discounted parking information below.
Dunham is perhaps most well-known for his long-running act with the purple and quirky character “Peanut.” The stand-up comedian has seen enormous success as a ventriloquist and has a whole cast of puppet cohorts along on his tour. Time has described Dunham’s characters as “… politically incorrect, gratuitously insulting and ill tempered.” The current tour will feature beloved characters Walter, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-fueled redneck Bubba J, Peanut, José Jalapeño, and Peanut’s own ventriloquist dummy Little Jeff.
New York Times Magazine called Dunham “the most successful comedian working in America.” He has appeared on Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents, and The Tonight Show. Jeff Dunham has also aired five specials on Comedy Central, including Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself and Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity. Pollstar has recently named him the #1 Comedy Tour in North America for three years running as well as their Top Worldwide Tour for two years in a row.
While the Target Center does have a parking ramp, just a five-minute walk will save show-goers money. The Park and Shop ramps only cost $6 after 4 pm. They are walking distance from the venue as well as a wide range of restaurants, eateries, pubs, and bars.
