The New Standards Back in Minneapolis!
The holiday season is upon us, and nothing gets us more in the spirit of things than holiday concerts. From the classics to the inventive, holiday shows are taking over your favorite venues. Whether you’re looking for something tried and true or completely different, The New Standards Holiday Show is can’t-miss.
These three Minneapolis musicians have been doing their holiday show here for over ten years. You may recognize them from other established Twin Cities bands: Chan Poling founded The Suburbs; John Munson was in Trip Shakespeare and Semisonic; Steve Roehm was in Billygoat and Electropolis.
You have three chances to see them in downtown Minneapolis Friday, December 7th and Saturday, December 8th. They are hosted by the State Theatre; tickets are $25.00 to $110.00. Discounted parking is available at two Park and Shop ramps near the theatre. After 4 pm, the ramps only cost $6, and they are a short walk from the venue. Expect a 75-minute performance that’s great for the entire family!
