What to Expect from Schitt’s Creek Live in Minneapolis
It’s becoming increasingly more common for cast members of shows to tour the country for live interactions with fans. Most often, this is with the cast of a YouTube show, reality show, or animated show. So it’s a treat for those who are in love with Eugine and Daniel Levy’s hit comedy Schitt’s Creek.
And it’s coming to the State Theatre Saturday, February 23rd.
Here’s what Robert Lloyd included in his LA Times review “Schitt’s Creek: Up Close & Personal’ at the Ace Hotel brings ‘conversation, surprises, merriment”
“As one would expect from ‘Schitt’s Creek’ itself, the evening was both hilarious and moving. Dan Levy led his castmates back to the show’s beginnings. Murphy and Hampshire had funny, end-of-their-rope audition stories. (Hampshire: ‘I had just gotten divorced, I had 800 dollars — 800 whole Canadian dollars — I hadn’t worked in almost a year because I could no longer go to auditions because I would break out in full body hives.’) Each spoke about his or her character and favorite scenes, as actors often do on panel appearances. But as this was their own, self-created, self-contained “Schitt’s” show, it also had the flavor of a family dinner.”
You can get tickets to the Minneapolis show through the State Theatre Box Office. Show starts at 8. For just $6, you can park in a safe ramp nearby. The Park and Shop ramps offer the discount after 4 pm Monday – Saturday and all day Sundays.
